A special housing town hall featuring Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, Canada’s Minister of Housing, Infrastructure, and Communities, was held on February 24 at the New Horizons Building. Organized by MP Julie Dzerowicz, the event provided community members with an opportunity to engage directly with Minister Erskine-Smith and MP Dzerowicz on key housing issues, including federal housing policies, affordability, and encampments. With housing costs remaining a major concern for Canadians, the discussion focused on government initiatives and community challenges.
