Hockey4Youth helps immigrant youth and newcomers get onto the ice | Hockey Night in Canada: Punjabi

According to the Institute of Canadian Citizenship, while 71 per cent of newcomer Canadians express a desire to play hockey, only 1 per cent will have the opportunity to play because of the high cost, lack of resources and a host of other barriers.

Moezine Hasham is bridging that gap with Hockey 4 Youth, a grassroots charitable organization that shares donated gear and hosts free training to low-income and newcomer children.
