Nour Utayim becomes Quebec’s first hijabi flight instructor

Meet Quebec’s very first first hijab-wearing flight instructor! Nour Utayim is a Syrian refugee who came to Canada in 2017 to follow in her father’s footsteps of becoming a pilot. Despite facing many difficulties along the way, Nour pushed through and finished her aviation studies in just a year and a half. She hopes her story will inspire other young women to pursue their passions no matter the setbacks.
