The Canadian Border Services Agency has officially launched Express Lanes at Toronto’s Pearson Airport, a new service that will save time for travelers who have completed their customs and immigration declarations using an advance CBSA declaration before arriving in Canada.
This service is an optional Advance CBSA Declaration feature in ArriveCAN that gives air travelers the option to complete their customs and immigration declaration up to 72 hours before arriving in Canada.
This special facility is now available to international passengers arriving at Montreal, Toronto Pearson, Winnipeg, Halifax and Vancouver international airports and will be rolled out at other airports in the coming months.
According to officials, the opening of this lane will save time for passengers and there will be a reduction in the long queues.
Passengers were happy and expressed their satisfaction with the opening of this new express lane, saying they will be able to avoid the hassle.
