Filipino worker from Riyadh wants to find missing sister in Ontario

An overseas Filipino worker in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is asking help to find her only sister. Juliet Roque last spoke to her sister Perpetua Dumaliang almost 8 years ago. She says Dumaliang is a retired nurse in Ontario, who lives with her daughter.
When she tried calling Dumaliang’s number, the call never went through, and she couldn’t even reach her via social media.
“In 2015 we kept calling her number, the same one we gave you but the number is non-existent now,” Roque told OMNI.

Roque didn’t think their phone call back in 2014 would be the last time she’d hear from her sister. She says Dumaliang’s not the kind of person who would cut family off.
“She’s kind. She’s very humble. She’s God-fearing and religious. We lean on to God.”

According to Roque, the mother-daughter duo lived in an apartment in Mississauga. When OMNI News reached out to the housing management of the apartment,  we found that Perpetua Dumaliang was listed as an occupant in one of the units. But calls to her unit go straight to voicemail.
Roque still hopes to hear from her sister and she seeks help from anyone who might’ve any useful information that can help her reach Dumaliang.
” We’re hoping to hear back from you. You can contact OMNI News, or their reporter, Paula. It will be a relief to hear from you. I miss you so much, my younger sister.”
OMNI News also reached out to Peel Living, the housing management of Dumaliang’s last address, but didn’t receive any response from them.
