The federal government of Canada has announced a new pathway to regularize up to 6,000 undocumented workers in the construction sector. The measure aims not only to protect the rights of these workers—who already contribute to the country’s economic growth—but also to strengthen the stability of the construction workforce, which is essential in addressing Canada’s housing crisis.
