Brampton Budget 2025 Paul Vicente

Brampton homeowners are set to see an 8.4% increase in property taxes, combining a 2.9% municipal tax hike with a proposed 5.5% increase from the Region of Peel. Mayor Patrick Brown officially launched the 2025 budget process on January 10 with the presentation of the city’s proposed budget.

The budget, which was approved by the municipal executive on January 20, outlines several key measures to address the city’s priorities. Paul Vicente, Councillor for Wards 1 and 5 and Vice-Chair of the Budget Committee, emphasized the importance of these measures in supporting Brampton’s growth and development.
