1. What is your name, age, any nicknames and where are you from?
My given name is Natasha and I am 24 years old. I’m a South Indian girl from Chennai, born in Kerala, and brought up in the Middle East, Kuwait. I lived in Kuwait for fifteen years and then moved down to Toronto, Canada with my family. My near and loved ones tend to call me all sorts of funny names and some of them include Tash, Tasha, Nuts or Nattu.

2. What languages do you speak?
My mother tongue is Tamil, but I also grew up learning and embracing the Hindi language and can speak it as well.

3. What is your occupation?
I am currently a student completing my two-year law clerk program. I am also a professional Bollywood and Classical dancer in Toronto.

4. Describe yourself in 3 words.
I would describe myself as passionate, determined, and hardworking. I am passionate about my goals and endeavors and I am more than determined to achieve them. Moreover, I never imagine that I would be handed a silver platter and believe in working hard to fulfill my goals.

5. Do you have any special/funny talents?
I can bring my leg all the way back over my head and touch my nose with my toe. As creepy as it sounds, I can also walk with my toes folded.

6. Who is your favourite Bollywood actor/actress?
My favourite Bollywood actor is Sharukh Khan and favourite Bollywood actress is Deepika Padukone.

7. What’s your favourite Bollywood movie?
My all-time favourite Bollywood movies include Devdas, Om Shanti Om, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

8. Who is your role model/who do you look up to?
My mother is my role model because she embodies strength, determination, passion, and dedication in everything she does. My mother has encountered many struggles throughout her journey with life and though she has stumbled many times, she has never given up and has always fought harder and that’s what I admire the most.

9. What is your strategy coming into the competition?
My strategy is that I have no strategy. Coming into this competition, I am nobody but myself and I believe that is the best strategy in order to accomplish my goals.

10. What makes you the next Bollywood Star?
What makes me the next Bollywood Star is my endless drive to achieve what most people might think might be impossible. Moreover, I believe that I have the aptitude to combine my hard work, passion, and determination along with my talents to pursue my dream to be the next Bollywood Star.

11. As a Canadian, why Bollywood over Hollywood?
Why Bollywood because I love everything about it. I love the acting, the culture, the charisma, the drama, the suspense, the dance, the emotions, the chemistry etc. Bollywood is so close to my heart because I have grown up watching tons of Bollywood movies and I would always be awe struck and then envision myself acting or dancing in the scenes from my favourite movies. When watching a Bollywood movie, nothing else around me mattered at that moment in time. My mother would always tease me and ask me if I was going to write an examination on the particular movie I was watching. I would always tell her that one day she would see me on T.V. acting in a Bollywood movie.

12. What would becoming the next Bollywood Star mean to you?
Becoming the next Bollywood Star would mean that I am that much closer to achieving my dreams that I envisioned since I was a little child. It would mean that my hard work, willpower, and passion was rewarded and that anything is truly possible to achieve if you just believe in yourself and never give up.
