The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBCannounces the powerful group exhibition A Future for Memory: Art and Life Afterthe Great East Japan Earthquake, February 11 to September 5, 2021. Theexhibition coincides with the 10th anniversary of the 2011 triple disaster thatsaw a 9.0 magnitude earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown hit the easternregion of Japan. A Future for Memory highlights nature’s destructive impact onhumans and its regenerative potential, and explores how humans live in harmonywith nature.
