The University of Toronto is creating a digital library of the Italian Middle Ages | OMNI News

The University of Toronto is creating a digital library full of manuscripts and documents from the 5th to the late 15th centuries.

It’s a partnership with the Northern Italian town of San Daniele del Friuli as part of the University’s Italian Language Week celebrations.

UofT students will work with AI technology to develop digital versions of these historical Italian books that will be available for online viewing in their virtual AR library.
