APPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flower
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 cup oil
- 1 kg apples
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
- Icing sugar
In a separate bowl combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and cinnamon. Peel the apples, cut into squares and set aside. In a large bowl, using a hand mixer beat the eggs and the sugar until the mixture becomes creamy. Continue mixing and add 1/3 of the flour mix and about 1/3 of the oil, continue mixing and adding the remaining flour and oil. Once all the ingredients are mixed add the raisins. Fold the ingredients using a spatula or wooden spoon. Add the apples and fold again. Cover a baking pan with parchment paper and pour the cake mixture making sure you spread it evenly covering the entire pan. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 degrees for about 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let it cool down and cover and decorate with icing sugar. Serve and enjoy! Smacznego!
