SHRIMPS IN WHITE WINE
Shrimps
- 1 bag of cooked shrimps
- 1 cup of white wine
- 1 bunch of fresh dill chopped
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- ˝ cup of butter
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Lemon
Salad
- Mixed greens
- 1 red pepper
- 8 small tomatoes or cherry tomatoes
- ˝ package of feta cheese cubes
- Fresh parsley
- ˝ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp organic flaxseed oil
To Prepare the shrimps:
Melt half of the butter in a large wok. Chop the garlic cloves and add to the butter. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add the dill, the rosemary and thyme. Add the remaining butter and stir all the ingredients together until all the butter has melted. Add the shrimps, salt & pepper to taste and cook everything for several minutes. Add the wine, mix well, and simmer. Serve in a plate with a lemon wedge.
To Prepare the salad:
Rinse well a bag of mixed greens and toss them in a large bowl. Cut the tomatoes in half and add to the mixed greens. Chop the red pepper finely and add to the salad. Add the feta cheese and toss all the ingredients together. Add the flaxseed oil and the balsamic vinegar. Toss the salad once more. Serve in a salad bowl to accompany the shrimps and enjoy.
