Pasta with Shrimps & Greek Salad
For the Pasta:
- 10 Shrimps (clean & peeled)
- Linguini (1/3 of a package)
- Fettuccini (1/3 of a package)
- Parsley
- Oregano
- Paprika
- 1 jar of tomato sauce for pasta
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
For the Salad:
- Green olives
- Feta cheese
- Mixed greens
- Salad dressing
- Boiled eggs
- Mushrooms
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Croutons
Directions
To make the salad, toss the mixed greens in a large salad bowl and add some sliced mushrooms, green olives to taste, feta cheese cut into cubes, about a pint of cherry tomatoes, 2 boiled eggs sliced, and croutons. Add your favourite Greek salad dressing and mix well. Set aside.
To make the pasta, boil the Linguini and Fettuccini following the instructions on the package.
To make the sauce, in a large pan pour the tomato sauce, add oregano, parsley, salt & pepper to taste and cook over low heat.
In the meantime, in a separate pan, pour olive oil and add the shrimps. Cook over low heat. Add pepper, oregano, parsley and paprika to taste. Cook for a few minutes. Once the shrimps are cooked, pour them over the tomato sauce and add more parsley and oregano if needed. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes more.
Serve the pasta in a plate and cover with the shrimp sauce. Serve with the salad. Enjoy! Smacznego!
