- 6 eggs
- 6 tbsp of sugar
- 1 cup of mascarpone cheese
- 2 cups of espresso coffee (prepared)
- 2 boxes of “biscuits" (lady fingers)
- 3 spoons of Cointreau liquor
- 1 Cup Whipped cream
In a large bowl beat the egg yolks with the sugar until light, for about 5 minutes. Whisk in
the Cointreau liquor and beat again for another 2 minutes. In the mean time, beat the Mascarpone cheese until smooth and then fold into the egg mixture. Add the whipped cream and fold ingredients until everything is mixed well.
In a cheesecake pan, arrange the ladyfingers making sure you cover the bottom of the pan. Pour coffee over each “biscuit” making sure it is soaked, but not watery. Spread half of the cream mixture on top and then create a second layer of lady fingers repeating the procedure. The last layer should be of cream mix.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. Once it is cold, remove from the cheese cake pan. Cut the remaining lady fingers in half and decorate with them all around the Tiramisu. To finish, pour some swirls of chocolate syrup on top. Serve cold and enjoy. Smacznego!
