MUSSELS IN WHITE WINE
Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo mussels
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- parsley
- black pepper
- 1 tbsp of starch
- 1/4 cup of cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ lemon
Directions
- In a large wok, over medium heat, add the olive oil.
- Chop the garlic cloves and add to the wok cooking for about 1 minute.
- Slice the onion and add it to the wok.
- Squeeze the juice of ½ a lemon.
- Cut a thin slice of the peel and add it to the mix.
- Chop the parsley finely and combine with the rest of the ingredients.
- Add pepper and the white wine. Let everything simmer for a couple of minutes.
- In the mean time, mix well the corn starch together with the cream and add to the mix.
- Stir all the ingredients.
- Finally, add the mussels and cover the wok.
- Let it simmer for about 5 minutes or until mussels are open.
- Serve and enjoy! Smacznego!
