MUSSELS IN WHITE WINE

OMNIIngredients

  • 1/2 kilo mussels
  • 1 onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup of white wine
  • parsley
  • black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of starch
  • 1/4 cup of cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ lemon

Directions

  1. In a large wok, over medium heat, add the olive oil.

  2. Chop the garlic cloves and add to the wok cooking for about 1 minute.

  3. Slice the onion and add it to the wok.

  4. Squeeze the juice of ½ a lemon.

  5. Cut a thin slice of the peel and add it to the mix.

  6. Chop the parsley finely and combine with the rest of the ingredients.

  7. Add pepper and the white wine. Let everything simmer for a couple of minutes.

  8. In the mean time, mix well the corn starch together with the cream and add to the mix.

  9. Stir all the ingredients.

  10. Finally, add the mussels and cover the wok.

  11. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes or until mussels are open.

  12. Serve and enjoy! Smacznego!
