Ingredients:
- Barnacles can be found at portuguese fish stores in frozen packages
- Margarine
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Piri-Piri (hot sauce)
- Garlic
STEPS:
- Mix the margarine, lemon juice, salt, hot sauce and garlic in a pan and melt the margarine. The quantities are to taste.
- After carefully separating the frozen barnacles wash several times until all the sand and seaweed come off.
- Place in a skillet with the shell facing down and drizzle with the sauce. When the barnacles come loose from the shell they’re ready. Don’t overdo it or they turn rubbery.
- Ready to serve. |
