Ingredients:
- Green pumpkin
- 1/2 Loaf of Portuguese
- corn bread
- Butter 1/2 cup
- Sugar 200 gr
- Cinnamon from 1 to 3 tbsp, according to taste
STEPS:
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Slice around the pumpkin stem until the top pops off (save the lid for later)
- Remove seeds from inside the pumpkin
- Break the bread into small pieces and add it to medium - large pot
- Mix bread with butter, sugar and cinnamon until it starts clumping then take it to the stove
- When the butter melts and everything is better connected it is time to stuff the mixture into the empty pumpkin – finish by packing the mix very tightly into the pumpkin
- Place the lid back on the pumpkin, place the pumpkin on a piece of ovenware and bake until tender
- Let it cool
Slice like a cake, peel the skin, leaving the meat behind and enjoy
