Seafood Soup with Port Wine

Ingredients:

  • 2 or 3 minced cloves of Garlic
  • 3 large shrimp
  • 6 Mussels
  • Octopuss previously cooked and diced
  • 4 Large Scallops
  • Small Calamari (1 or 2)
  • 4 Ounces of Port Wine
  • 1/2 Cup of tomato paste
  • 4 Cups of Fish Stock (without any salt or pepper)

    STEPS:

  1. Sauté garlic in olive oil until golden
  2. Add tiger shrimps, mussels and octopus
  3. let it fry for about 5 mins
  4. Add Scallops (4 large) and the small calamari still whole, which should still have the tentacles
  5. Then add 4 ounces of Port
  6. Add Tomato paste (2 cups) and stir for a couple of minutes
  7. Finaly add pre-made fish broth and let it boil for 10 minutes
  • The salt should be checked and adjusted, if needed, when serving
