Feijoada de Marisco >>

Ingredients:
- Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup of onion
- 1 Tbsp Garlic
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 - 3 Tbsp Parsley
- 1 pinch Cilantro
- 1 shot Beer
- 2 Tbsp Sweet Pepper paste
- 4 -5 Cups of chopped squid
- 1 Cup chopped Octopus
- 4 Cups water
- 6 - 12 Tiger Shrimp
- 12 regular shrimp
- Frog-Fish
- 6 Mussels and 6 Clams (marinated with bay leaf)
- 10 Cups (medium pot) Cooked Black Bean with water
- 1 shot of Brandy
STEPS:
- Line the bottom of the pan with a bit of olive oil and start adding the ingredients: onion, garlic, bay leaf, parsley, cilantro, beer, sweet pepper paste, squid and octopuss. Then add about 2 cups of water (2,5 Dl at the most), mix, cover and let cook for 20 – 30 minutes
- Add the tiger shrimp and let it cook a little while until it starts to turn pink
- Add the shrimp and frog-fish as well as the mussels and clams. After adding another 2 cups of water cover let reduce for a few minutes
- Add the black beans (with water from the cooking) and a shot of brandy
- Let simmer for a little while then taste and adjust the salt and spiciness to taste
